As Montalvo prepares to bid goodbye to its outgoing president, members of the board of trustees are also saying hello.
Barry M. Ariko of Saratoga was appointed to a two-year term as president of the nonprofit arts center's board of trustees. Ariko, president and CEO of Mirapoint and chairman of its board, has been a member of Montalvo's board for four years. He will take over for outgoing President Greg R. Prow of Los Gatos, who will remain a member of the board throughout 2006.
Montalvo also named eight new members to the board. They are Scott Cacchione of Woodside, Prudence Choi of Los Gatos, Michael Cole of Los Altos, Paul Mehus of Los Gatos, Laxman Narasimhan of Palo Alto, Roberta Robins of Palo Alto, Glen Rossman of Menlo Park and Marianna Samson of Saratoga.
