Migrant Labor in the 1960s The Academic Film Archive of North America shows two films highlighting the struggle of farm laborers in the 1960s. Edward R. Open Studios Gala Opening Silicon Valley Open Studios celebrates its gala opening, featuring a live art auction, food and an exhibit featuring artwork by 6th-8th graders in the Open Studios for Schools program. Brandon Lloyd of the 49ers will be on hand to congratulate these young artists on their artistic achievements. Silicon Valley Open Studios takes place throughout Silicon Valley over three weekends during the month of May. Gala opening takes place Fri, April 1, 6pm-9pm. $30 per person.
